I have finally used this die cut sheet by Bo-Bunny, from the Flutter Butter range. I love it but have gotten it out many times but just couldn’t find the right sketch, products or photos to go with it.
The last two pages I have done are certainly not similar in anyway. In fact I would say the styles are totally opposite!
I tend to try and do bold bright modern pages for my sons photos, whilst i am experimenting with shabby, vintage styles for mine and my daughters pics.
Here is the most recent i did of my son. The photos were actually taken in summer last year but they were snapped on my phone, and I have had a nightmare getting them onto the computer!
The title was made using Scenic Route chipboard letters, but I used the negative shapes as a stencil first to messily (is that a word?) paint the letters in brown paint, before gluing the chipboard letters on top, resulting in a sort of shadow effect.
And this page is my vintage style I am working on. I love the effect of having loads of flowers, vines, swirls and other embellishments all grouped together, but I do struggle with the placement of them all! Also, I don’t actually have much of this sort of thing at the moment, but I am working on that!
This was one of many photos I took of myself recently, after changing my hair colour, again! I needed some up to date pics for blogs etc, so I thought i would have a quick photo session, as I am too photo shy to ask hubby to take the pics!
I found that this paper from Prima is already so detailed, it made the style look distressed and vintage before I had even added many embellies! Easy!
I am shortly going to be updating my blog, and promising myself (once again) that I will blog more regularly! So please do invite your friends to pop on over and take a look, I am really hoping to eventually find all of my 70 odd followers again that I had to my old blog! X
