When Prima meets…ME!

I don’t often buy Prima products. Although I LOVE the embellishments, the papers are often a little ‘fussy’ for my style.

However, I decided to take part in the current Prima challenge on their blog, so I had to hunt through my stash and dig out all the bits I had.

WARNING: CONFESSION AHEAD!!!!
***************
I didn’t have a whole 12″x12″ Prima paper.
Nope, that’s not the confession.
It is that I actually went to the drastic lengths of pulling apart an old scrapbook page, so I could use the backing sheet! **BLUSH**
I did choose an old page that was not particularly special, but I do feel a little guilty now.
At the time I probably would have been very proud of that page!
Still, I was desperate to take part in this challenge, and this was the only way. So here is the finished page…

I had to cover some chipboard letters in Prima paper, as I have no Prima letters, and I used two different types of their packaging, flowers, swirls, papers, stamps and leaves…and I thought i didn’t have much!

This is not my usual style at all, and it does seem a bit fussy, and not neat enough.
It is one of those pages where I love the detail, but not sure about the overall effect…what do you think?

  1. nope … I love it all .. the detail and the overall effect. Now I am a prima girly, love all their bits, flowers, gems etc – and I think you've done them a great justice 🙂 … Did you take a photo of the page you took apart … or has that just been wiped from your memory LOL
